Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine and spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
I was so totally going to post a Top Ten Tuesday yesterday, but time got away from me. I’ve been busy with an international scavenger hunt called GISHWHES and until it ends– this Saturday– I’m afraid I’ll be a bit preoccupied causing chaos and staying up late creating outfits from food, tweeting like I’m Orlando Jones, and emailing famous people.
Anywho, I’m super excited to share my WoW pick this week. Continue reading
IN THE REAL WORLD, WHEN YOU VANISH INTO THIN AIR FOR A WEEK, PEOPLE TEND TO NOTICE
After his unexpected journey into the lands of the fey, Ethan Chase just wants to get back to normal. Well, as “normal” as you can be when you see faeries every day of your life. Suddenly the former loner with the bad reputation has someone to try for—his girlfriend, Kenzie. Never mind that he’s forbidden to see her again.
But when your name is Ethan Chase and your sister is one of the most powerful faeries in the Nevernever, “normal” simply isn’t to be. For Ethan’s nephew, Keirran, is missing, and may be on the verge of doing something unthinkable in the name of saving his own love. Something that will fracture the human and faery worlds forever, and give rise to the dangerous fey known as the Forgotten. As Ethan’s and Keirran’s fates entwine and Keirran slips further into darkness, Ethan’s next choice may decide the fate of them all.

I’ve been waiting to read this book for what seems like ages. I’m so thrilled to have finally had the chance to read it! I love this series and Julie Kagawa so darn much. Though I was sad that Prince Ash (*swoon*) wasn’t going to be the main focus of this book, I still enjoyed it immensely.
Top Ten Tuesday is a lovely original feature/weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
This is my first week doing this thing called “Top Ten Tuesday” and I’m so excited to participate in it! 🙂 I’ve actually never considered the authors whom I own the most books from so this should be fun. These are in no particular order! Continue reading
Went on down to the good old Barnes & Noble yesterday. I’d actually thought that all big chain book stores had gone out of business (wow, I’ve been out of it), so it was a pleasant surprise to know that I can still buy overpriced books at Barnes and Nobles! Oh, the joy!
Although I walked in the door with a budget of just one book–just one, I tell you–I walked out with two books (oh, the horror), because I’m not capable of limiting myself to just one book. Why even try? But. at least I set a “budget”, otherwise I would have walked out of those doors with twenty books (and absolutely no money to my name).
I’m super excited about these two books, though! 🙂 Continue reading
