Don’t Need More Books, But… Book Haul!

20140903_232420
…Let’s just say there’s a reason why this blog is called “I Think I’m Obsessed”.

I love bargain buys on books and lately I was able to get all of these books for five dollars! What a steal! Honestly, there’s not a whole lot of room left in my room for more books, but personal space is overrated. In fact, space is overrated. As long as I have a little air hole to breathe somewhere, my room can be 99% books. As I always tell my parents, “hey, it’s better than drugs.”

Or is it? Hmmm. Questions I like to ponder late at night.

Books I Bought:

Heist Society by Ally Carter

I’ve always wanted to read this one, but I’ve never read it! It’s been out awhile, but better late than never. I loved Carter’s Gallagher Girl series so I have big expectations for this one.

Revenge of the Girl with the Great Personality by Elizabeth Eulberg

I read Prom and Prejudice by Eulberg a couple years ago and it stuck with me! Otherwise, I have absolutely no idea what this book is about. A girl with a great personality? Hmm. It was 50 cents. Can I hear a WOOP WOOP?

The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein

I’ve heard that this one is not to miss. Plus, Garth Stein lives in Seattle. I have to support the 206. Always.

Uglies by Scott Westerfeld

I’ve already read this book several times and have it on my Kindle, but physical copies are always preferred. I love the character of Tally Youngblood.

The Bourne Identity by Robert Ludlum

I saw that one of my Goodreads’ friends was reading this one and I decided that I should give this series a try. I don’t read much in the thriller genre, but I love the movies. Shallow reason to read a book? Maybe. 😉

Books I Was Given by Publishers:

How to Survive A Sharknado (and Other Unnatural Disasters) by Andrew Shaffer

Who doesn’t need to know how to protect themselves in a Sharknado? Psh. This is a survival guide for the masses. Make fun of me all you want, but I’ll be the last one standing when the next Bataclysm happens or when the Mongolian Death Worm decides to emerge from hiding. This book deserves more press. I deserve a statue in my honor in regards to my future heroic actions.

A Bride in Store by Melissa Jagears

It’s been awhile since I’ve read a good Christian historical romance. I’ve never read anything by Melissa Jagears, but Bethany House was so kind to provide me with a copy of this book! Thanks Bethany House! Can’t wait to get cuddled up with this one and a good cup of hot chocolate.

Have you read (and hopefully liked) any of these books? Did you get any new books this week?

Let’s talk books!
